Hello Parents,
What a wonderful week of practices. The kids have been working very hard and I can see it all coming together already. I know we are going to have another wonderful production!
Now it is time to make sure we have three full shows by selling as many tickets as possible. Kara and her husband have made beautiful tickets that are now available!! Thank you Kara!
This year we are trying a new system for tickets so please read on to find out all the ways tickets can be purchased or reserved! Please read all the way through because there have been some important changes since last year.
Ordering tickets:
1) Parents can order tickets through the website by going to the parent page and request tickets through the order form there. Kara will receive an email with your information and have the tickets ready for you at our next practice for pick up.
OR
2) You can find Kara at practices and let her know what you need and she’ll get them for you. Please note that if you send your student to pick up tickets they need to be accompanied with a signed note from you with how many tickets you need.
Picking up tickets:
When you come to pick up tickets, you will be asked to sign for your tickets. This step has been added to help us keep track of all the tickets and where they go. We want to make sure everyone gets the credit they deserve for selling tickets. You do not need to pay for the tickets as you pick them up. All money will be due on September 11.
Remember there is a $40 fee that every choir student is responsible for. This is covered if you sell 8 tickets throughout the year (2 productions).
Returning tickets and money:
This year we need to have all money and unsold tickets returned by Friday, September 11th. Please understand that we will not extend the due date this year. To make the accounting easier on Kara and I we need to be able to account for all the tickets and money from the families before the shows. If you have everything to us by the 11th that gives us a few days to meet and do the accounting. The reason for this is, if there is a mistake then we can find it and correct it in a timely manner.
I understand that many times family and friends have not paid or made a hard commitment by the time tickets are due. To help with this, this year the website has a ticket reservation order form on the main page. Anybody can reserve tickets there and Kara will have them ready at the door for them to purchase 🙂 So if you have anyone on the fence,  I suggest you direct them to the website and let Kara help them. Just remind them to please put your student’s name (last name) in the request form. Kara will respond back to all requests so they will get a confirmation from her.
If you want to have unpaid tickets held at the door for somebody please use the order form on the main page (not the parent page). You can still give Kara tickets to hold at the door that have been paid for. Please have them in a sealed envelope with their name on it, what show it is for, and that they are paid for. Thanks!
I hope this system makes things easier for everyone and will help us get people in the seats. Last year we had 1 sold out show. Let’s beat that and have 3 sold out shows. Remember to promote the shows everywhere you go. You can download the flyers off the website (in the quick links section). Carry them with you and ask to put them up around town at grocery stores, community centers, churches, and everywhere you visit. It would great if everyone was to put up a few flyers in the cities they live in. I know I will be putting up some in Waterford and Oakdale this week. Where can you put them up?
If you have any questions you can reply back to this email, email me directly, text me, or call!
Thank you!
