Hello Everyone!

Hope you have been enjoying your spring and this beautiful weather. This weekend Honor Choir gets the privilege to perform for the Covenant Village volunteers. These volunteers have spent their time helping others and now Honor Choirs gets to help show them how appreciated they are. Below you will find all the information you will need for the performance. Plus, there was an error on the graduation date so please  look at the correction.

• 2:20PM: Meet in front of the care center. Same location as where we performed as last time.
• 2:30-3:30PM: Students will enter together with Mr. Thompson and perform SRO in the care center. They will not be performing any songs from Music Man this time. Please be aware that there will not be enough room for parents to watch the performance. There will be an area where parents can wait for their students.

CMEA is here! Tomorrow is the day! The choir has been working so hard and tomorrow they will get to demonstrate all they have learned this year.

Below you will find everything you will need to know about the day.

CMEA

When: Friday, April 8, 2016

Where: Johansen High School (641 Norseman Dr., Modesto, CA 95357)
Schedule:

• 2:50PM Arrive, Please don’t be late!
• 3:00PM: Watch a performance, parents can watch too.
• 3:25PM: Warm up, Mr. Thompson will take the choir back stage. Parents can watch other groups while we wait for our group to go up to perform
• 3:50PM: Performance. EXCITING TIME. All parents can watch!
• 4:15PM: Clinic, the choir will go backstage and do this behind closed doors. Parents can wait outside or continue to watch performances
• 4:45PM: Released, families can stay and wait for our rating or can leave at this time. If you stay please remember to keep the noise level down outside so we don’t distract other performers

Attire: Dress Uniform, please remember we want the choir to look like a cohesive group that takes pride in their attire. We want the judges to focus on their amazing singing! =)

• Boys: black pants, white long sleeve dress shirt, blue tie, black belt, and black dress shoes. Hair out of faces. No jewelery or watches are to be worn.
• Girls: Black skirt, blue blouse, nylons, and black dress shoes. Hair needs to be down and out of the face. NO PONYTAILS, BUNS, BRAIDS OR COLORED HAIR ACCESSORIES. No jewelery or watches are to be worn. Make-up needs to be natural, fresh looking.

Hello Families,

I hope everyone one had a restful break!. With Spring Break over and everyone trying to get back on track, I wanted to send out a reminder for tomorrow’s practice and performance.

Here is the information you will need for tomorrow:

• CMEA Rehearsal and Performance will be at: Covenant Village, 2125 N Olive Ave, Turlock, CA.
• 12:45 p.m: Rehearsal in Berg Hall (when you come in the driveway, take an immediate right. It will be on your left side about 100ft in).
• 2:30p.m. Choir will perform SRO and CMEA songs for the residents in the care center.
• Dress Uniforms are to worn. Please follow the same dress code as Disneyland =) There will not be time for them to change after rehearsal so please have them wearing their uniforms when they arrive.
• Please be aware that there is limited parking so plan on parking on the street and walking in.
