Dear Parents,
I hope you have had a wonderful summer full of great adventures and moments of relaxation. Now that school is starting, it’s time to jump back into choir too!

The first Cinderella rehearsal is this week. Due to unexpected family obligations Mr. Thompson will not be able to meet on Friday. The first Cinderella rehearsal has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 11 from 12:35 – 3:00. It is understandable If you are unable to make the rehearsal on Thursday.  Mr. Thompson will have the students who can make it, help the others learn the bows and finale during another rehearsal.  Please let me know if you are unable to make the new rehearsal time so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

With the start of rehearsal it is also the time to start thinking advertising for the shows. The next couple of weeks will be a great time to carry the flyers with you and put them up around your town. Many places are happy to display the flyers. Please let Kristi Mazuelos know if you need flyers. You can also go to the parents page on the website and download the flyer.

We also wanted to let you know that the calendar has been updated on the website so if you are linked to it, check your calendars. Remember you can have the calendar be sent to your devices. The directions are on the website. If you are having trouble ask Kelly for help.

There are a couple of changes to the calendar since we last met, please take a look:
– New Aladdin tentative rehearsal schedule: December 7, 14, January 5-6, 12-13, 16, 19 from 12:35-4:00. School performances January 20 and performances January 20 and 21.
– Nativity Festival Performance December 3 at 4:00pm in Modesto.

We also wanted to let you know that the emails will be coming from this new email address. We have been having trouble with a few of the families not receiving the emails. We hope by moving away from a gmail account this will resolve the issue. Remember to add it to you contacts so the emails won’t accidentally go to spam.

Hello Everyone,

Kristi Mazuelos has kindly offered to make prints of the Disneyland group photo for anyone who missed getting it. Please contact her with the number of copies you would like and size. All orders are due by this Friday, May 13. You can choose between 5×7 for $1.00 and 8×10 for $3.00. She will have the photos ready for pick up on Monday, May 16 at auditions.
