Hello Honor Choir Families!
The kids have been working very hard with Mr. Thompson to get ready for Sleeping Beauty and Into the Woods. It has been exciting watching them work with a positive and open mind with one another! Now it is time to add the next step to make this an exceptional show. What is that step you ask? TICKET SALES! This year Kara Boggs is heading up the box office and she kindly took the time to make up beautiful tickets for us to sell. Starting now you can find her at practices to pick up tickets.
To all our new families, I want to extend a warm welcome to you! We are so happy to see all of you and your kids in honor choir! I am sure you are wondering how does the ticket sales work. Well, I can help you there =) We ask that every family sells as many tickets as they can. Please understand that each student needs to “pay” $40 BUT if you sale 8 tickets at $5 each, you have covered the $40 fee. For many of you that will be covered by family tickets. Where does all the tickets money go, you ask? All the money from the tickets goes right back into choir. It helps to pay for special Choreographers, cast parties, Disney trips, props, uniforms, and many other things that helps make this program so successful!
So here is how you can get tickets to sell:
- Order your tickets on the website and Kara Boggs will have them ready for you at rehearsals, remember you can send family and friends to the website: http://hickmanhonorchoir.org/ and they can reserve tickets to pick up at the door.
- Call or text Kara 988-5200 and she will have your tickets ready for you at the next rehearsal, or
- Talk to Kara at the rehearsals. She is there every rehearsal, just look for her purple box of tickets
Starting NOW, Kara will be at practice ready to hand out tickets. Come back as many times as you need and get more tickets =) We have tickets to sell for Friday, September 22 @ 6pm, Friday, September 22 @ 7:30pm, and Saturday, September 23 @ 11:00pm. There are 300 tickets for each show! You do not have to pay for the tickets up front, but we do ask that you have all money and unsold tickets returned to Kara be Friday, September 15. We will need to account for every ticket so please have them back to her on time.
This year lets make it our goal to have three sold out shows! It is great to look out into the audiences and see all the seats filled. It gives the kids a sense of accomplishment. They get excited and happy to see all their friends, family, coaches, neighbors, and teachers watching them.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call Kara (mommyboggs@gmail.com (209)988-5200).
Happy Selling!
